Ronald Saraswat

Dr Ronald Saraswat holds a PhD in Health Biology from Aix-Marseille Université, completed through a French-German cotutelle with Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz and funded through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Innovative Training Network (ITN) TiCardio under Horizon 2020. His research focuses on extracellular vesicles, endothelial senescence, ageing biology, intercellular communication, vascular inflammation, thrombo-inflammation, quantitative mammalian cell biology, proteomics and extracellular-vesicle cargo delivery. He has conducted research in France, Germany and Ireland and completed a postdoctoral appointment at Université Paris Cité within the CNRS-affiliated NABI laboratory, where he optimised quantitative extracellular-vesicle cargo-delivery assays in mammalian cell systems. As co-founder of Gene & Tonic Cité, he promotes interdisciplinary scientific communication and collaboration within the Cité internationale universitaire de Paris.
