Presentation of the Articles
The Cytopia articles form the editorial foundation of the conference cycles. They aim to structure, document, and disseminate the knowledge produced during the discussions, submissions, and public conferences.
Each article follows a shared quality framework:
- grounding in a thematic bibliography;
- collective review and editorial validation;
- writing that is accessible to an interdisciplinary audience.
Contributions may come from the themes proposed by the cycles, but also from additional submissions when their scientific and editorial relevance is established.
Depending on the authors’ level of autonomy, an article can be developed from a preliminary discussion or submitted directly through the contribution process.
All of these outputs feed into Cytopia’s final publications, especially the closing book.
In the 2026 edition, the articles are also designed as AI-enhanced materials: help with structuring, thematic navigation, and progressive enrichment of metadata. Their publication follows semantic web principles in order to make content easier to query with document analysis tools and LLMs (Large Language Models).
In line with the project’s editorial policy, authors are invited to describe their research contributions in an inclusive way: use gender-neutral wording, examples representative of diverse audiences, and special attention to accessibility for people with low vision or color blindness.
