At the end of the conferences and articles, Cytopia’26 will publish its proceedings in digital and print formats.

Presentation of the Final Book

The final Cytopia book is the reference publication for the 2026 edition. It brings together a structured selection of the outputs from the discussions, articles, and conferences across the three cycles. It is part of the project’s core approach: innovating not only in the topics covered, but also in the very structure of the conference and its supporting materials.

Its goal is twofold:

  • preserve a lasting record of the knowledge produced collectively;
  • share this content with academic, institutional, and civic audiences.

Editorial Content

The book will include in particular:

  • a general introduction to the Cytopia project and its methodology;
  • the contributions selected by thematic cycle;
  • summaries of the closing conferences;
  • a consolidated bibliography;
  • editorial appendices (glossary, resources, acknowledgments).

An enriched version will aim to make the content queryable according to semantic web principles and compatible with AI-assisted uses.

Publication Process

The preparation of the book relies on a shared editorial process:

  1. selection and harmonization of contributions;
  2. collective review and scientific/editorial validation;
  3. formatting for digital publication and print;
  4. publication and distribution to contributors and partners.

Editorial governance is shared between the authors, the editorial committee, and the coordination team: the authors guarantee the accuracy of the content, the committee validates scientific and formal quality, and the coordination team validates the final publication and its integration into the proceedings.

Formats and Accessibility

The book will be published in two complementary formats:

  • digital format: online distribution for broad, multilingual access;
  • print format: printed edition for archiving and distribution to contributors.

Particular attention will be paid to content accessibility (clarity of writing, readable formats, multilingual versions depending on translation availability).

Provisional Schedule

  • 14/04/2026: call for contributions/presentations;
  • 12/05/2026: closing conference for Cycle I;
  • 09/06/2026: closing conference for Cycle II;
  • 30/06/2026: closing conference for Cycle III;
  • July 2026: editorial finalization and publication of the proceedings.

Recognizing Contributions

Authors, speakers, and translators will be acknowledged in the final book. This publication is intended to highlight individual contributions and reflect the collective and interdisciplinary nature of Cytopia.
