Presentation of the Conferences
The Cytopia conferences are the public end-of-cycle presentations. They bring together residents, artists, experts, researchers, and external audiences around work prepared in advance through the discussions and written contributions.
Each conference has three goals:
- share the scientific and editorial results of the cycle;
- open a structured interdisciplinary debate;
- consolidate the content intended for the final proceedings publication.
Preparation Protocol
To ensure the academic quality and accessibility of the presentations, the conferences follow these principles:
- Abstracts shared in advance: each presentation is accompanied by a summary distributed before the conference;
- Structured presentation: presentations follow a clear format (issue, contributions, limits, outlook);
- Subtitling (closed captions): subtitling is planned to improve online accessibility; in the live event, French and English will be offered (if the speaker speaks French, the slides are in English, and vice versa)
- Inclusion guidelines: speakers receive recommendations on language, pace, and visual supports to encourage inclusive participation.

Output and Recognition
At the end of each conference, the presented content is reviewed, consolidated, and integrated into the project’s publications (articles and the final book) to ensure its dissemination and long-term preservation. The consolidated content is then structured according to semantic web principles to make it easier to explore and query with AI tools.
